Beauty Vs Brain
For the Motion:
Now
if I have to write for the motion I will go with Brain because brain is much
more important than beauty as brain is countable in most of the areas or most
of the stages of human life. Brain is something that is real, we cannot
increase the capacity of our thinking, or our IQ just by having a surgery but
beauty can be enhanced or increased by a cosmetic surgery. So brain is
something that is real and will remain natural.
In
fields like Science, technology, politics, and there are many more fields also
where our talent and brain is required not our beauty and there are many people
who have done so well, inspite of the facts that they are not beautiful like
Einstein, Dr. APJ Kalam etc. So I don’t think so for getting success beauty is
the necessary element. Because people like Einstein, Dr. APJ Kalam etc have
reached the heights of success just on the basis of their talents and brain. So
for them their brain is there beauty.
Now
I would like to clear my point with an example- As I have completed my MBA
course, and appearing for interviews and there interviewer will select me for the knowledge I possess,
my talent, creativeness,IQ level, attitude not on my beauty. Yes personality
counts a lot during the selection procedure of a candidate but ratio is always
high for brain and talent.
As
we can see that, person who qualify for civil services, medical exams,
engineering exams or many more high level exams have qualified on the basis of
their brains not on their beauty. So there are many more examples where people
have achieved a great height in there life and that too only on the basis of
there talent and thinking capacity of brain.
So
at last we can say that “if the person
is talented enough, he should be able to make it to the top, irrespective of
his looks and beauty”.
Against the Motion:
Not
only talented is the only requirement in this world to reach the great heights
in career. There is many people who choose acting, modeling, and other forms of
entertainment where beauty of a person, looks, personality matters a lot.
Now
in today’s scenario outer packaging is much more important than the inner
content, cover of a book is more important than the whole book i.e. if the
cover of a book is attractive people perceived that book should also be good
but that was just their perception. So in a nut shell we can say that outer
beauty or looks is counted more than the inner beauty (knowledge, values, pure
soul etc).As we can perceive people on his outer look or beauty.
Like
when we meet a human being, the very first thing that we notice is the way he
looks and it is quiet natural, there is nothing wrong about that too. In many
conditions a person's talent is ignored just because he/she happens to look. But
in the professional or the personal life, a man or woman needs to have a good
personality to climb that ladder of success.
Now
a question arises that, why do we need to
look beautiful to be successful? Except of course in the glamour world of
movies/modeling, it is raw talent and our ability to talk our way through
challenging situations that makes us to meet success face-to-face. Because in
this glamour world the only one thing that is much required is BEAUTY. But somehow brain is also
needed with beauty but ratio between the two will always high with beauty, as
during Miss. India, Mr. India, Miss. World or many more competitions, brain is
also required as there is one round there judges check your IQ by asking few
questions. But if you are beautiful and having good looks you have cross or
qualify half of the race. So that clearly indicates that for glamour world
Beauty is in demand, necessary requirement.
