What is Covering Letter?
Covering letter includes any
such additional information which is not clear from the resume and at the same
time you are supposed to narrate your skills, abilities, core competencies in a
nut shell.
Why Covering Letter?
It’s a simple check on your
effective writing - employer wants to check your grammar, spelling, sentence
arrangements and flow of thought etc.
It is a supporting letter to persuade your employers to read
your attached resume which includes completely different information which is
not in your resume and at the same time tells the advertiser why you are
applying / or where you discovered the job opening / or which job you are
applying for etc.
It has three parts:
1.
Introductory Paragraph: Your qualification
2.
Main Body : Your past performance & testimonials
3.
Concluding Paragraph : Motivate the employer i.e. grant you an
interview
Standard Format of Covering
Letter
Esteemed Sir/Madam,
Happy Reading!!
Your excellent advertisement in the Deccan Chronicle, dated June 19, 2013
impelled (attracted) me to apply for the position of Trainee
Engineer/Management Trainee for
which I consider myself fit provided given an opportunity to prove.
I am a young man of 21years having sound character and good health and at the same time I am doing/completed my Four Years Full Time First Class (60%) MBA (PGDM) – Finance from Newton Business School, Udaipur, and Rajasthan during the session 2020 –22.
In and out of the classroom I have consistently demonstrated my capacity to make a
Positive impact regardless of the situation. I have
good analytical and numerical skills, which I have acquired during my studying
at college or university. I can do problem solving accurately in under-pressure
conditions either by working independently or with a group of people. Not only
do I work well with numbers, but I can also interpret them and come up with
relevant ideas and suggestions that can be vital in business success.
As I am always fresh and as a fresh person means a fresh mind which can generate fresh ideas. I could bring to the table newer ideas that could help your organization grow. As
full of ideas and creativity
as I am, I am also equally eager to learn, understand the practices and
principles of your company and apply them to my job. My eagerness to learn and
work has practically no bounds and I am willing to go the extra mile on the
job. My skills which I acquired during my education too no doubt are more
contemporary and new, and I can certainly apply those at work. In fine, I am a
multi – talented & multitasking person and I am always ready to work on any
“Assignment” provided it is rewarding & challenging.
I help Educate younger & my friends, encourage them, motivate them, inspire them, Aware them, make them humble and manage their time, set their priorities, and stay focused, so they can achieve their goals, get ahead in life, and live their dreams.
I do believe only positive response from the world class employer who loves creative employee.
Thanks with Regards and Oblige.
